An overview of Moxtra

There are many apps out there that aim to improve group projects and collaboration, it is a much needed service in academia and business. But still no single app had nailed this whole process, this is the reason why daily millions of texts and emails are sent to swap documents, or to set up conference calls.
Moxtra is a new app that tackles this problem through a service it calls power messaging. Power messaging is combination of sharing documents within a group, audio and text chats that all contribute to enhance collaboration in projects. For example a study group can use Moxtra to prepare a report or take lessons from a tutor, a sales team can use it to collaborate on presentations, and a group of friends can use it to plan an event or a trip. Any user can add audio and text comments, they can make mini presentations to show why and how they have annotated documents.
Moxtra is an app from a company of the same name and it is available free on both Android and iOS, it can also be accessed from the browser. One great thing about the app is that people can participate in a chat from any mix of devices. For added security the service is strongly encrypted.
This product is old but previously it revolved around “binders” which were collections of documents. But now this app has been innovated to include chat features that greatly help in group collaboration.

Right now, Moxtra has not imposed any limits to the amount of stuff you store in “binders”, or how long you conduct meet sessions, or how many participants you include. But eventually Moxtra plans to impose limits on will start charging premiums from user that exceed the limits. It also plans to add paid new features.

The advent of Long Scrolling pages

Over the past there has been a visible change in trend in website design towards long scrolling pages. These pages often have a great visual design that engages visitors and leads to better conversion rates.
The way long scrolling pages work is that they tell narrative about a company or a product using techniques that are visually stimulating. And now they have become even more successful in engaging visitors with richer graphics, neat design, anchored navigation, moving widgets and parallax effects. This has enabled marketers to narrative stories in a whole new way and persuades visitors to scroll further.
This trend of long scrolling pages was not always considered good, in the early 2000s most websites were focusing on making pages that did not require visitors to scroll. They focused on finding where the “fold” is in a webpage so that they can stuff all the data in a way that did not require scrolling, and all the content that did not fit above the fold had to be put on a different page. At that time marketers focused on getting visitors to click on links on a website and go deeper.
But why did this trend change? In the last two years Web analytics has produced numerous reports emphasizing on the engagement level of visitors, the findings were that in every case higher visitor engagement level led to higher conversion rates. And the measure of engagement is that the website entices the visitor to scroll down a page a read the story.
To check how successful a long scrolling page is website owners track mouse movement and scrolling, this gives them an idea about the level of user engagement on individual pages. They implement mouse/activity tracking and scroll tracking on long scrolling pages to check whether visitors are scrolling down the page or not.

Transition from BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) to BYOS (Bring Your Own Software)

After BYOD or “bring your own device” – the concept that people bring their own devices like laptops, IPad and smartphones to work, IT experts have now thought up of a new phrase “bring your own software” or BYOS.
In the last few years employers have accepted the idea to let employees use their own devices at work, to give them the freedom to choose their favorite devices. Although at first employers were concerned about security risks but BYOD let to increased employee satisfaction. After BYOD employers are now considering if they should let their employees use the same software they use at their homes.
“Bring your own software” is quickly gaining support from employers and it has already started in workplaces. Many office employees have started forgoing MS Word and are switching to Google Docs. And instead of using FTP company servers they are using Dropbox.
A few years back employees used to ask the IT department of the company whenever they wanted a software. But this trend has changed now as people can get so many applications online for free, so instead of going to the IT department employees just download what they like. Furthermore, developers are constantly releasing communication and productivity tools that are helpful to people in both their professional as well as personal lives and this trend will give a boost to the BYOS culture.

Like “Bring your own device”, “Bring your own software” can save employers a lot of time and money. Previously employers had to spend huge amounts of money to buy software programs and then more money to train employees to use the software. But with the BYOS employers don’t have to spend money to buy software programs as employees bring their own software and they have been using them in their personal lives so don’t require any training.

Marketing and sales possess the credibility to coordinate with each other and ultimately to end up giving more sales to the organization.
The marketing department would attract and influence the customer by several scenarios like promotional material, attractive content, etc. Similarly, the sales individuals can follow the same leads and coordinate with them through platforms like live chat support and real time visitor management software. Customers would return in such scenarios if they face motivational trends from the organization they are dealing with. However, it solely depends on the fact that how well things are implemented and what impact would it made on the organization.

Internet Tax in Hungry

The Hungarian government initially planned to tax the internet because of their internal issues but after a certain period of time controversial behavior raised up in the general public because of this perspective. The government decided to implement tax on the internet traffic and people were asked to pay the task. The task focused on the perspective of data plan and it would impose fee on each gigabyte of internet data transferred. This would create a hindrance in transferring information and this would create a long-term negative impact. The tax imposed would set at 150 forints (£0.40; 0.50 Euros; $0.60) with respect to per gigabyte of the data traffic. The general people believed that this would not be a viable strategy to impose tax on the internet because this would stop the freedom of expression and it would negatively affect the students too. Students would not be able to search for information and they would not be able to complete their respective papers and school assignments.
However, several people initiated protests in this region because they believe that this is a negative stance of the government. The demonstrators hurled old computer parts at the prime minister’s office. The civilians ragged their voice against the prime minister and shouted dictator because of the aspect that the government threatened civil liberties.

Different supporters insulted the government because of these protests and laid their anger against different departments of the government. The government representatives believed in the ideology that they do not want to restrict the people and they do not want to restrain them from freedom of speech. The government for the time being has decided not to continue this strategy because this might rage violence amongst people. However, the government is having talks with the protestors so that they can hold their protests for the time being.

Why do people click on Tweets?

Tweets are basically utilized on twitter and as implied by the name it is a small message sent on twitter. In order to send or receive a tweet you have to create an account on twitter. Similarly, friends and other individuals on twitter can share their tweets and people can view these tweets by clicking on these tweets. In order to make these tweets viable people should have their friends and other individuals who follow them on this platform so that people can view their tweets and evaluate the happenings on this platform. People should understand this platform once they login with their account and evaluate the interesting word of twitter.
Like other social media networks this is very addictive in nature and the core reason why people click on tweets is that they want to know what is inside the message send by others who basically are their friends, relatives, famous personalities, etc. They can view the message without clicking on the tweets. This is by far the most basic activity on this platform. However, initially this platform seems to be very difficult in nature but it is very simple as compared to all the other social media websites.

However, tweets have certain limitations too with respect to the characters in cell phones. However, members can read full tweets on web pages of twitter or third party web based applications. Reading or not reading the tweets solely depends on the fact that whether you follow that person or not. If you are being bombarded by the tweets of individuals then not following that particular person is also an option. Hashtags plays an important role in tweets as it categorizes and groups the messages. However, the core reason why people click on tweets is to basically know what they are talking about and what they want to say.

Open source VS paid softwares. Which one is thriving?

Softwares are divided into two broad categories; one is the open source software while the other one is the paid source software. In this article, we will do an analysis of each of them. Here you go:
-          Open source software
In this software, the developer gives the license to copy the content of software and use it without any fee. It is therefore legal to use this type of software. Not only is this, but in this software, others can also modify the software but this modification should be made in the source code. Besides this, in the open source software, users work collaboratively and they share the ideas. This environment actually helps in fixing the bugs. Such softwares are also called as “free licensing software”.
-          Paid source software
In contrary to the open source software, there is paid source software. As the name defines, this software demands license to use. Thus, one has to pay the fee foe using this software. These paid softwares provide the additional benefit and are much more secure than the ones, which are free to use. Renowned companies are earning huge profits through these softwares.

As a conclusion, both of these softwares have their own importance and demand in the corporate sector. That software that are specifically designed for core business activities and have multiple benefits are in demand even if they require hefty budgets for buying the license. On the other hand, open source softwares are also well known for their easy to use functions and in small business where the budget is usually low. It has been observed that the corporate sector is looking for more privacy and optimum quality; due to this reason, paid softwares are expected to expand in the future.

"Conversion Copywriting" - Word that make people click

The number of social media posts, blogs, general content on the internet keeps on increasing with the advent of time. Brands are embracing new and modernized opportunities just to make sure that they can enhance more and more visitors on their respective website. However, content always remain the king because online marketers want people to click on the text and explore more what they actually mean. The current market is crowded with content and everyone possesses the power to create content. That is why it is extremely difficult for marketers to get an edge. However, through different techniques and scenario they can attract the visitors and convert them into customers.
The choice of word remains the most important perspective because individuals prefer reading the headliner or things that are bold in front of them. If they are attracted towards the heading then they would ultimately prefer reading the other part of the text. Content marketers prefer conversion-copyrighting techniques through which they convert prospect customers into proficient customers.

Presenting viable statistics and comparing it with related brands by using attractive analogies with the best usage of words gives an edge to a certain brand. However, executive and usage of phrases makes a certain difference that is why online marketers want copywriters to be on their toes when they utilize words. They want the content to be perfect and free from errors. They want catchy phrases and extravagant tag lines that would create a long-term difference in the life of a certain brand. Several copywriters prefer the art of using pictures and combine them with text so that it would give an attractive touch. However, implementation is the key to success that would give the copyrighter an edge over other competitors utilizing the same skill in the market place.
