Pinterest VS Instagram - Which is the best choice for business

 Social media presence is very important for businesses nowadays, and photos and videos are an essential part of it. Apart from Twitter and Facebook businesses want to expand to Instagram or Pinterest, but they don’t know which one to choose. Both Instagram and Pinterest are photo based platforms and businesses get confused on which one to choose.
Before a business decides which platform to use, it needs to think about its strategy and what purposes it wants to fulfill with these platforms. There are a few key points they need to know about Instagram and Pinterest.
Both Instagram and Pinterest are great for videos and photos, it should not be thought that one platform is better than the other for sharing photos. Curation is encouraged on Pinterest, in other words, it is similar to twitter in terms of photos. Lastly, if the business is looking to do business to consumer marketing its best option is Pinterest. Although businesses can indirectly generate revenue from Instagram but it's nothing compared to the amount of sales the business can generate through Pinterest.

When comparing Instagram and Pinterest, people often assume that both are same as both are photo and video sharing platforms, which is far from the truth. So one has to be clear on the differences to make an informed decision of which one to choose.
